1. Who we are

FindCoin ("we", "us") operates findcoin.app, a free cryptocurrency information website providing market data, token risk reports, and related educational content. For privacy matters, contact us via the details on our Contact page.

2. What we collect — and what we don't

We do not offer accounts, so we never collect names, emails, passwords or wallet addresses through registration. We never request wallet connections or signatures. The data we do process:

• Server logs. Like virtually every website, our servers record standard request logs (IP address, browser user-agent, pages requested, timestamps) for security, debugging and abuse prevention. Logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted.
• Hashed identifiers for votes, comments and rate limits. When you vote on a token, post a comment, or run scans, we store a one-way salted hash of your IP address — not the IP itself — to enforce one-vote-per-visitor rules and prevent spam. The hash cannot be reversed into your IP.
• Comments you submit. Comment text and the optional display name you choose are stored and displayed publicly. Do not include personal information in comments.
• Local preferences. Some interface preferences may be stored in your own browser and never sent to us.

3. Advertising and cookies

FindCoin is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. Google's use of advertising cookies is described at Google's Ads policy pages, and you can manage personalization at Google's Ads Settings or opt out of third-party cookies in your browser. Depending on your region, you may see a consent prompt allowing you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies before they are set.

4. Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful. Analytics data is not used to identify individuals.

5. Third-party data sources

Market data displayed on FindCoin is retrieved by our servers from providers such as CoinGecko; risk reports are computed from public blockchain data. When our servers fetch this data on your behalf, your browser does not contact those providers directly from our pages that are server-rendered; some live-updating pages fetch public market data directly from providers' public APIs, which involves your browser making a request to them (subject to their privacy policies).

6. Legal bases and your rights

Where regulations such as the GDPR apply, we process the limited data above on the basis of legitimate interests (site security, spam prevention, keeping a free service running) and consent (non-essential cookies). Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, to object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Because we hold so little — chiefly transient logs and irreversible hashes — most requests are satisfied by design; contact us and we will help with the rest, including deleting comments you authored.

7. Children

FindCoin is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be noted prominently.
